"Me first, me first" - I heard the gay call,
"If I can't be first, I'll not play, at all";
Was my heart so selfish, so petty within,
That I was the "First," regardless of Him.
I started musing began to take stock,
A true sacrifice, is the "First" of the flock;
Then there's another, of this we can speak,
Bring the tithe to the storehouse, the "First" of the week.
Is your oil low, and the meal almost gone,
Give true devotion, to God's only Son;
Have Faith, He is one you can trust,
Just be obedient, make His cake "First."
